Scope Includes:
1.) PREP ROOFS FOR INSTALLATION OF NEW MULE-HIDE 60MIL SINGLE-PLY TPO ROOF SYSTEM. BUILT-UP ROOF SYSTEM AND METAL ROOF TO REMAIN.
2.) @ BUILT UP ROOF SECTION, MECHANICALLY FASTEN A EPS FANFOLD INSULATION OVER EXISTING BUILT-UP ROOF AND IN TO EXISTING CONCRETE DECK WITH MULE-HIDE REQUIRED COATED FASTENERS. WHEN RUNNING FASTENERS IN TO CONCRETE DECK, THERE IS A POSSIBILITY OF THE INTERIOR UNDERSIDE OF CONCRETE DECK TO SPORE OR LOSE PIECES OF CONCRETE WHERE SCREW PENETRATES. THIS CAN BE UNSIGHTLY TO SOME VISUALLY AND MUST BE APPROVED BY BUILDING OWNER PRIOR TO PROJECT START.
3.) @ METAL ROOF SECTION, INSTALL AN EPS FLUTE FILLER IN BETWEEN RIBS OF METAL ROOF, FOLLOWED BY INSTALLATION OF A 1 POLYISO INSULATION BOARD, MECHANICALLY FASTENED.
4.) MECHANICALLY FASTEN A WHITE, 60MIL SINGLE-PLY MULE-HIDE TPO ROOF SYSTEM AT A FASTENING RATE OF 12 O/C IN THE FIELD AND 6 O/C IN PERIMETERS AND CORNERS WITH MULE-HIDE REQUIRED COATED FASTENERS. INCLUDES ALL PIPES, PENETRATIONS, CURBS AND SPECIFIED INTERIOR PARAPET WALLS TO BE WRAPPED IN MULE-HIDE 60MIL TPO.
5.) INTERIOR PARAPET WALLS ABOVE 18 IN INTERIOR HEIGHT WILL BE FULLY ADHERED WITH MULE-HIDE TPO BONDING ADHESIVE PER MANUFACTURER REQUIREMENTS.
